Edge Profile

There are several different types of granite edge profiles to choose from. The price varies depending on the difficulty and time it takes to do the edging. One of the least expensive edges is the pencil round edge which is slightly rounded. The more expensive edging would be something like the ogee edge which is more time-consuming to fabricate and also takes a special router to make. During this process a diamond embedded blade is used to cut the granite and water is used to cool the tools and to keep the dust to a minimum. If you desire this type of edging the extra cost is well worth the beauty and lines of the finished product.
